About Me

I'm a mum with 3 children - Chelsea, Morris and Ruby. I live on our family farm with my husband Stuart. I follow a number of blogs with wonderful pictures, witty stories and generally talented operators.... mine is none of the above! My blog is just a way for us to send updates to family and friends of our everyday life. Amanda xx

JUST A SUNDAY

Sometimes when you live up here you question whether or not your kids are missing out on the opportunities living in the city provides.  Today my kids played in the bush next to our house all day, they built cubbies, climbed trees and just generally amused themselves which they do most days of their little lives.   Yes they may struggle with computers and not have the latest electronics and they have no idea what skylanders is, but here they don't have to worry about what they look like, or think that they need to act more grown up or worry about breaking a million rules and generally do not have a worry in the world - so today I am thinking being up here is not that bad.

JUST FOR SAMARA

How funny, this afternoon I was having a conversation with my friend who is VERY talented at taking pictures.  Anyway we were talking about how the kids are growing up and have all got so big.  She suggested to me that I take a picture of Ruby asleep, in her words "they always look so cute and young asleep", I mentioned that Ruby normally isnt that angelic looking when she is asleep but said I would try!  Anyway this is Ruby asleep tonight.....

A DAY AT THE BEST PARK

We had a day at the park in Mandurah with our friends the Caffels.  Everyone from Tammin now seems to have family in Mandurah, its great at school holidays as we always have someone to play with!!

MY BABY

These pictures make me a little sad, my baby has started to become a grown up little girl. Her legs are getting longer, finally her hair is gowing and every day she suprises us and makes us laugh, she is so independent and trys SO hard at everything she does!! I remember when this happened to Chelsea - little ratbag to little lady, time is going too fast.

I HAVE A NEW LENSE

I bought myself a macro lense after seeing a friends lovely photos of insects.  I love that you can get so close and see all the features of the "mini" world!! I am struggling a bit so far - but managed to get a couple of cool pics.  I will keep practicing!!

A QUICK CATCH UP

So I am back!  Its been ages I know and I actually don't have that many pictures to fill in the time gap!  I was without internet for a couple of months  - thanks bigpond for being so prompt...NOT!!

Anyway, a we now have a new modem, and hopefully they have fixed the Kellerberrin tower - my internet is now slower than ever but at least we are back in business (for now)!  Here are a few pics of the past few weeks x

This year Chelsea had to swim a whole lap - she struggled a fair bit!

Luckily she has lovely friends to make her feel better

THE pool

Stupid pool - maybe one day the kids will be better swimmers if it ever gets built!

Our TV

Ruby threw a paddy and ditched the remote control at our Tv and broke it, so they made they own tv!
