About Me

I'm a mum with 3 children - Chelsea, Morris and Ruby. I live on our family farm with my husband Stuart. I follow a number of blogs with wonderful pictures, witty stories and generally talented operators.... mine is none of the above! My blog is just a way for us to send updates to family and friends of our everyday life. Amanda xx

MORRIS'S 7th BIRTHDAY

7 years old!!  Where has that time gone!!?? I can't believe this time 7 years ago I had to drag Stuart off the tractor early in the morning and drive to Perth, the doctor the day before had told me not to leave the city but of course I did and came home...serves me right.  Anyway off we go to Perth, Stuart looking his very best with the biggest beard ever and clothes covered in dirt and fertiliser.  I was in labor when we got to Northam and wait for it.... then we stopped for parts??  Who does that?  Anyway, alot of yelling and cursing moved Stuart into action and I got there on time to deliver my beautiful, loving, funny caring little boy.

Today finally was his birthday party, he has been counting the days down for a month and luckily he has had the BEST birthday with his friends and I also had a lovely day with my friends!!  So all good!

Decorating the cake the night before - eating more lollies than is going on the cake!

THE cake!  Looking good!

Such a boy moment, getting jocks, he giggled and ran around laughing and then thought they were faulty as had a hole
in the front!  We then had to get the parade of the jocks which was also pretty humorous!! Thanks Mama xx

Surprise!! A bike!!

Looking at this nothing much has changed in 7 years, Stuart still in his best clothes!

I truly believe he wants the bike for himself

FOOTY TIME

I love footy, thankfully Morris also loves footy, we love to watch the footy together and he loves to go to Auskick.  At the moment he REALLY loves footy, Stuart told him to always carry his footy around and practice, so thats what he does -  its constant football in the house, very annoying for his sisters and beginning to take its toll on our belongings!!

Photo frames take a hit AGAIN

yay a goal

SEEDING

Seeding can be a busy and sometimes a lonely time for a farmers wife, I love it when they are seeding the paddocks around the house as you can hear the tractor and feel at least hubby is close by.  The kids woke up a couple of mornings ago to the sound of the tractor which was exciting for them to run out and see dad going around and around!!

Late bus so there was time to do a few laps with dad

Seeding... seems to send everyone troppo!!

KIDS, MUD, KIDS

Another weekend, another sleepover!! Lots of fun, then a visit from friends on a wet muddy day... 6 kids how could they resist, "mum are yabbering with a cuppa they won't notice we are gone"!!

Check out Stuart trying to watch the news..

Ah yes - there he is, the photo wrecker! As per previous posts its becoming a bit of a hazard trying to take photos around Morris.

RANDOMS

My beautiful boy - dads on the tractor so he has decided he is the man of the house, here he is collecting wood!  He also gets rid of the dead mice for mum and does all those yucky dad jobs!

There is a massive moon at the moment, its like someone has left the lights on outside at night - brilliant!

The roses are out!
