About Me

I'm a mum with 3 children - Chelsea, Morris and Ruby. I live on our family farm with my husband Stuart. I follow a number of blogs with wonderful pictures, witty stories and generally talented operators.... mine is none of the above! My blog is just a way for us to send updates to family and friends of our everyday life. Amanda xx

SWIMMING CARNIVAL 2012

Today was our school's swimming carnival which we have with Meckering every year, it's always a great day although the little wheatbelt kids are not that great at swimming! I find it just amazing to watch them all give it a go and still get out with a big smile on their faces even though they really struggle.  Our kids did so well, Morris was especially nervous and I had to do lots of coaxing to get him to participate, but he swam further than I have ever seen him and we were so proud of him.  Chelsea also did great and got runner up champion, she was so shocked when her name was called out!  Ruby also loved her first carnival and managed so come home with more ribbons than anyone in the school... as you will see below!

Woo Hoo we have Yabbies in our dams - its been so long since we have caught Yabbies, having Luci come to stay made it the perfect opportunity to go and throw in a trap.

My little boy - just pondering xx

BIKERS

What to do on a Sunday arfternoon, we have a MASSIVE and EXCITING bike track in Tammin, our kids love it which is funny, I am sure they will come back to Tammin when they are adults and look at the track and it will be nothing like they remember it to be as they think its huge (its not)!  Anyhooo, here we are at the bike track with our fellow immature friends the Rogers family!  You can see by the pictures why I am referring to us all as immature, the parents could not help but start racing each other on the kids bikes, made the afternoon rather humerous....
