About Me

I'm a mum with 3 children - Chelsea, Morris and Ruby. I live on our family farm with my husband Stuart. I follow a number of blogs with wonderful pictures, witty stories and generally talented operators.... mine is none of the above! My blog is just a way for us to send updates to family and friends of our everyday life. Amanda xx

PERTH ZOO

Today I met mum in Perth for the day and we took the kids to the Zoo, it was stinking hot!!  Even the animals thought it was stinking hot!!  But... the kids obviously thought it was great.... but did I mention it was stinking hot!!

Waiting for Nanny to arrive on the "Fairy" boat!

South Perth

I think she was secretly nervous standing there...  he doesnt look real, but he still makes you just want to sit and watch him all afternoon even though he hardly moves.

My favorite - He was laying right next to the glass looking a bit fed up with zoo life!

Looks a bit like a poster!  Meowww

Last time I was here this little baby was born and here is the poor mum 2 years later still alone with the baby - they feed their young for 6 years!  They are such good mums.

Phew.. its hot

It's pretty rare you will see a picture of me on this blog - but I look so ridiculous sitting on this stupid little train that I thought I would make an exception!  Note.... Nanny had gone on strike by this time!

So.. Nanny dug her heels in and refused to walk another 20km just to find a Koala!!  So this is where we left her whilst I drew the short straw and walked 20km to find the Koala - fat, alseep, not really doing ANYTHING - and then walked another 20km back again!

On the Koala quest..
